Dining and cusine
Bukhari is the restaurant at the heart of COMO Uma Punakha - named after the traditional Bhutanese fireplace. Lunch dishes feature international comfort foods such as pasta and salads, while dinner is a gastronomic treat. Menus are based on seasonal, local produce sourced by chef Tshering Lhaden, who delivers both Bhutanese and international dishes with strong flavours and finesse.

Our Valley View rooms—some with outdoor terraces—are light and airy with king-size or twin beds, sheesham-wood furniture and bright wall paintings by local artisans. ONE-BEDROOM VILLAS
Private villas in Bhutan do not all offer such large living areas and expansive terraces as those found at COMO Uma Punakha. With a separate living room, dressing room and bathroom, this elegant one-bedroom, standalone house, has French windows opening up to the valley view from the bedroom.

In the bedrooms, luxurious Indian cotton bedcovers have hand-stitched patterns paying homage to Bhutan’s Buddhist culture and colours, while hand-knotted rugs come from nearby Nepal.
