Cambodia is a Southeast Asian nation whose landscape spans low-lying plains, the Mekong Delta, mountains and Gulf of Thailand coastline. Situated on the Indochinese peninsula, Cambodia is bordered by Thailand and Laos on the North and Vietnam on the East and South.
Cambodia offers today an incredible range of scenic locales; from its azure seas and white sandy beaches to the mist shrouded mountains. And all throughout, the land and ist people is imbued with a rich cultural heritage to be found anywhere from our stony temples to the great lake of Tonle Sap, to our hill tribes of the mountain region. Its busy capital, Phnom Penh, is home to the art deco Central Market, glittering Royal Palace and the National Museum's historical and archaeological exhibits. In the country's northwest lie ruins of Angkor Wat, a massive stone temple complex built during the Khmer Empire. There are many activities can be arranged during your holiday in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Itinerary
Welcome at the airport and meeting with the guide/assistant
Transfer to the hotel with the local "tuk tuk".
The tuk tuk is of the most pleasant forms of intraurban transit in Cambodia. The official name for them is the French word remorque, but everyone still calls them tuk tuks.
Check in at the hotel and time to relax.
In the evening walk with your guide/assistant along the river to enjoy an Aperitif in a skybar with the view of the sunset on the river.
Overnight at the hotel
After breakfast meeting with the guide/assistant at the lobby of the hotel.
Tuk tuk available for the day.
In the morning visit the Royal Palace and Wat Phnom.
Typical lunch in a Khmer restaurant (vegetarian menu available on request)
In the afternoon visit the Killing field.
Back to Phnom penh and stop at the colonial cafe' Elephant Bar ( drinks not included ).
Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast meeting with the guide/assistant at the lobby of the hotel.
Tuk tuk available for the day.
In the morning you will take the ferry to silk island
Bicycle tour around the island with the guide.
Transfer to the airport.
