Get ready to explore Rome in a different way...by bicycle !

This tour combines the city's most famous attractions and some of the real taste of local Roman flavors . 
Ride your bike along a 9 mile (14,5 km) route. You will stop first at a "caffetteria" for a  traditional italian breakfast , and between some photo stops your guide will show you the most iconic sights of the "Eternal City" of Rome , with a break in a famous bakery tasting a slice of crispy italian pizza and replenish your energy with a sample of gelato in a "gelateria".

 

The tour ends at the starting point .

This 3 hour guided tour will take you around the historical center of Rome, not by bus, not by foot , but riding a bicycle and in the mean time you have the chance to taste some traditional italian "flavors" ! 
 

You will visit : 

  • Piazza Venezia
  • Roman Forum 
  • The Colosseum
  • Trevi Fountain
  • Jewish Ghetto area
  • "Caffetteria" for a traditional italian breakfast
  • Roman Pizzeria 
  • Homemade "Gelateria" (ice cream shop)

The tour starts in Piazza Venezia where you will meet your guide. After a short safety briefing , put your helmet and hop on your bike!

You will cycle around the historical center passing through Roman Forum , once the center of Ancient Rome and the Colosseum, where gruesome gladiator battles took place. You will ride through the historical Jewish Ghetto area and jus after this, you will stop for a traditional italian breakfast at a "caffetteria" (with croissant and espresso coffee) , your guide will give you some important information about roman history and culture  .

Then you will continue the tour cycling around till Trevi Fountain where you will have a break with a slice of crispy Pizza and you will replenish your energy with a delicious homemade ice cream . You will learn through an ice cream "parlor" about the ice cream's origin and the importance in the italian culture. 

And now that you feel full of energy, what is the best thing to do if not riding back to the "starting point" ?
