Cingjing

Your tour will start from a location (to be defined) in Taichung. Your private guide/driver will pick you up for a drive to Cingjing area. The main stops will be; 

► Guanyin Waterfall
Guanyin Waterfall (中文版：觀音瀑布) is a tall waterfall in Nantou, Puli Township. You can swim at the 2nd tier, which is an easy 850 meter hike from the parking area. Butterfly season is from May to July.

► The Old England Manor
Rich in natural beauty, the picturesque highlands of Nantou County are right in the centre of Taiwan. Surrounded by green hills, The Old England Manor Hotel is a unique property with a Tudor-style exterior that is an intriguing surprise to find in this part of the world. Complete with a Gothic-style clock tower, the hotel is rich in English artefacts and statues abound throughout the extensive grounds.

The interesting mix of styles continues inside The Old England Manor Hotel, with different period furniture from Rococo to Art Deco. Regency striped wallpapers and fabrics sit next to floral patterns, chandeliers and Tiffany lampshades. The overall effect is really quite striking and encapsulates a romantic feel.

► Hakoune Onsen
As you could tell from the name, the Hakoune Onsen is yet another one of the many Japanese-inspired hot springs in Taiwan. You’ll find Hakoune Onsen in the central Puli Township in-between massive mountains. Its location between these big mountains gives Hakoune Onsen a fabulously cool breeze that compliments the warm waters. There are both public and private baths available at Hakoune Onsen.

► Mona Rudao Monument
Mona Rudao (1880–1930) was the son of a chief of the Seediq tribe of Taiwanese aborigines. In 1911, he made a visit to Japan. He succeeded his father as a chief of the village of Mahebo and became one of the most influential chiefs of the area of Wushe. Mona Rudao was from the Tgdaya group of the Seediq.

► Carton King Shop
The Carton King Creative Park in Taikeng, Taichung covers an area of ​​about 1,600 square meters. The park displays a variety of paper crafts, and more particularly, the carton restaurant tables and chairs and hot pot can be made of paper! Right! It definitely opens your eyes! Your guide will you first only take you to the Carton King Shop, but when the time allows, you can also visit the park!
 

► Hehuan Main Peak is a 3,416 meter high mountain in Central Taiwan. The peak lies on the boundaries of Nantou and Hualien counties and is within the greater Taroko Gorge National Park area. In the sunny days you will take the most amazing pictures and best memories of Taiwan! 

Lunch will be on the way in a local place. If you have any special dietry, please inform us in advance.

Afterwards, your guide/driver will bring you back to Taichung at your hotel or HSR station.

Pick up will be in the morning at your hotel or Taichung HSR train station, here your guide will briefly introduce the area. 

The detailed itinerary will be defined together with your guide. Schedule will be done according to your needs, weather and road conditions. 

Tour will last around 9 / 10 hours, at the end of the tour your driver will leave you at your hotel.
