5D/4N Family Fun Tour

The Family Fun Tour begins with a trip down the west coast from Taipei to Taichung. We'll stop at a Flying Cow Ranch to meet with cows whose milk is used to make some of Taiwan's best ice cream and we will have a lesson in DIY ice cream making!
Afterwards, we'll head to Rainbow Village to visit with local artist Rainbow Grandpa before checking into the hotel.
 

After a big breakfast, we'll leave the city behind and head to magical Sun Moon Lake, consistently rated as one of the most scenic spots in Asia. The lake is surrounded by temples, shrines and bamboo forests, so there's plenty to do. We might go for a hike, take a boat ride across the lake, visit temples, have a tea ceremony or take a gondola ride and visit amusement park. Your guide will fill you in on all the options.

On day three we'll spend more time in the mountains, visiting a Small Swiss Garden, sheep farm and picking and eating mouth watering seasonal fruits (Taiwan's fruits are amazing...!). As the sun sets, you'll be treated to an amazing view of the stars from our guesthouse or in a 4* hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel (breakfast is not always available with the guesthouse choice).
We'll take a mountain hike through bamboo groves and lush high-altitude forests before heading to Taroko Gorge, where we'll spend the afternoon basking in the amazing scenery & a truly gorgeous gorge.
We'll hike to a few shrines and temples, examine the marble walls of the marvelous Swallow Grotto, and have a meal in some of the most impressive scenery of Taiwan's Grand Canyon. After that, we will end the day relaxing in of the hotels in Hualien.

On your last day, we will start early as 6am to go for an adventure of watch playful dolphins & range of whale species with the guidance of a local fisherman.
Afterwards, we'll head back from the peaceful east coast city of Hualien towards Taipei and prepare for departure.
