The Gaya Hotel is the first facility in Taiwan to integrate high-tech software in the traveling experience.
We combine technology, culture and tourism by using applications accessible through the travelers’ mobile devices, so that they can explore Taitung efficiently and easily.
The Gaya Hotel strives for the concepts of "technology" and “culture" combined for tourism. The collaboration with the international architect and designer Yeh Yu Ching fostered the idea of creating a "Cultural Hotel”. This approach is strategic to combine Taitung's local customs with the international community and provide a service that is authentic and original.
Taitung is surrounded by breathtaking spots: mountains, rivers that water the rice fields, the pacific ocean and its unique coastline, and natural hot springs to cite a few. The Gaya Hotel is 400 metres from Taitung Railway Art Village, while Taitung Art Museum is 1.2 km away. It takes 15 minutes to drive to Taitung Airport from the property.
