11D/10N: Traveling Around the Island

Arrival in Taoyuan Airport and private transfer to the Hotel in Taipei. 
Check-in in Hotel . 
Rest of the day:free.

After breakfast, you will meet your english speaking driver/guide at the reception of your hotel and you will start the visit of Taipei. 

National Palace Museum, one of the 4 biggest museums in the world where the treasures of Chang Kai Shek are kept.	Chang Kai Shek Memorial Hall with its beautiful gardens, then the National Theatre, the Concert Hall and the Lurigshan Temple.	Taipei 101, the supertall skyscraper and known as the Taipei World Financial Center. You can admire a stunning view over Taipei on 101.

After breakfast, short visit of Sun Moon lake and then drive to Alishan . 
You will reach Alishan in time to see the sunset. 

Wake up around 4.00am and take the Forest Railway to reach Alishan Mt. to admire the beautiful sunrise, one of the most beautiful in Taiwan, also called the "sea of clouds" .

Then you will go for a walk in the "enchanted forest" to see thousand-year-old Taiwan cypress trees.

Back to the Hotel for breakfast. 
After Breakfast drive to Tainan and short visit of the city with the Chikan Tower and Confucius Temple.
Then the journey will continue to Kaohsiung . 
Check-in in Hotel and rest of the day free . 

Early in the morning you will drive to Fo Guang Shan Monastery (around 40km from Kaohsiung city) to greet the "birth of the Sun" together with the monks. 
Back to the hotel for breakfast. 

Then we will do a short visit of Kaohsiung with the Spring and Autumn Pavillon , dedicated to the God of War , the statue of Kuanyu and the Dragon and Tiger Pagoda and then drive to Kenting. If there is enough time, we will stop for a short visit, otherwise you will continue to Chihpen , popular hot spring area where you will relax with a good thermal bath . 

First stop of this day tour  will be in Siaoyeliou. This area is famous for its numerous fossils, then you will continue to Dulan where you will visit an art center and coffee production shop with a beautiful view on the Tunghe Bridge where group of monkeys live.

Then we will visit Sanxiantai , the terrace of the 3 immortals”(3 big rocks closed to each others famous for a chinese legend ).
Then we will continue to the East Rift Valley and we will arrive late in the afternoon in Hualien . 

After breakfast, all day to visit Taroko National Park. 
You will stop in The Eternal Spring Shine , Swallow Gotto, the Tunnel of the 9 Turns , Water curtains (if possible). 

After breakfast, drive to the marble factory and stop for a short visit . Then drive along the Chingshui cliff, one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world . 
Arrive in Taipei in the afternoon.

Suggestion: Ximending,Red Theater / Nightmarket  

Breakfast in Hotel and visit of the surroundings in Taipei . Beitou Hot Spring Museum, Hell Valley and then stop in Yingge for the production of ceramic.
