Verona is one of the main tourist destinations in northern Italy, owing to its artistic heritage, several annual fairs, shows, and operas, such as the lyrical season in the Arena, the ancient amphitheater built by the Romans. The city has been awarded World Heritage Site status by UNESCO because of its urban structure and architecture. At your arrival, meeting with the Chinese/English speaking guide in Verona train Station and city tour of Verona: Arena di Verona, piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, Juliet house, San Zeno Basilica and the Church of Santa Anastasia, Piazza Bra and more… Around 12.30 it’s time for lunch! You will have the chance to discover some of the typical specialties of the area. In the afternoon your visit will continue with some time for shopping in the Corso Porta Borsari and Via Mazzini. The historic centre is peppered with interesting little boutiques, luxury brands such as Gucci, Max Mara, Burberry, Givenchy and Valentino all have stores in town, but the city boasts individual manufacturers and emerging labels too. Visit Venice, capital of northern Italy’s Veneto region, is built on more than 100 small islands in a marshy lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. Its stone palaces seemingly rise out of the water.
