This half day tour will lead you to the top of one of the tallest towers in the world, Taipei 101, where you can enjoy the view of the magic city. Afterwards, you will have the chance to walk up on the hidden hiking trail of Elephant hill, which will lead you to a bird view angle of the incredible building.

說明 Introduction

Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, sits at the north of island and holds the center of economy, politics, and culture of the country. After the influence of Qing and Republic of China, Taipei is one of the major hubs of the Chinese-speaking world. It is about 25 km southwest of the northern port city Keelung and 40 km northwet of Taoyuan International Airport. Considered to be a global city, Taipei is part of a major high-tech industrial area and also home to various world-famous architectural or cultural landmarks.

詳細行程 Itinerary

Day 1

Meeting with your Tour guide/Assistant at Taipei 101 Mrt Station exit 5 (Red Line ) around 10.00. We will start with Taipei’s masterpiece: Taipei 101 tower.

The tour guide will lead you at the top of the tower to enjoy the stunning sightseeing of the capital from the second tallest tower in the world.

You will reach the top floor with the fastest elevator in the world. The lifts take just 40 seconds from ground level to the 89th floor, situated at 382 mt and have atmospheric pressure regulatory systems to avoid discomfort (ears 'popping') for the occupants.

Taipei 101 is designed to withstand the typhoon winds and earthquake tremors that are common in the area east of Taiwan also thanks to its giant Mass Dumper. Essentially acting as a giant pendulum, the enormous steel sphere moves slightly back and forth to counter any motion of the building itself. It is an engineering marvel meant to limit the vibrations of the 1,667-foot tall building.

Walking from 101 to the Elephant Mountain we will stop for a cup of the famous Taiwanese Bubble Tea.
 

Elephant Mountain is one of the must-see place in Taipei, you will find yourself immerse in the nature just in the heart of the financial city . We will walk up to the top of the mountain and stay there to enjoy the sun going down on the beautiful Taipei. We will finish our tour tasting a delightful dinner around the mountain. Dinner is not included in the quotation and our assistant will suggest you the best place to eat following your needs.

注意事項 Notes

This is a walking tour so please bring comfortable shoes! During summer, it could be scorching hot so remember to stay hydrated during the tour.
Transfer will be with public trasportation, if you prefer to take a taxi you will be required to pay for it directly. 
Tour will last more or less for 6 hours.
In case of rain or bad weather the assistant will change the itinerary accordingly.

You might want to bring: Sunscreen, Hat/sunglasses, Mosquito repellent, Water, Camera, Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Long pants and sleeves are recommended also.
