Munich is a fantastic place to learn German. The Bavarian capital is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. The GLS summer camps have fantastic locations - one in a Munich castle, the others in the Alp mountains just south of Munich. This summer school south of Munich is the perfect choice for you if you are really into learning German - with a choice of either 20 or 25 lessons of German per week. Work hard & play hard: You´ll get to learn a lot, but you´ll have lots of fun, too. The school operates in a traditional Bavarian family hotel on a lake just south of Munich. The surroundings are truly beautiful, after class we´ll go swimming in the lake, hiking in the mountains, climbing, mountainbiking - you will spend a lot of time outdoors in the Bavarian Alps. And of course we´ll take you to Munich as well. The program includes 3 trips to Munich every week.

 

► Munich Castle Summer School

This camp in Munich is truly spectacular: you´ll learn German in a medieval castle! The castle is in the southern city center of Munich, on the banks of River Isar. And Munich Highlights such as Hofbräuhaus, Bavaria Filmstudios or Frauenkirche are within easy reach. You´ll have German classes in the morning, and after class our activity program begins: we´ll have barbecues on River Isar, play volleyball or go shopping in Munich. You´ll get to see all the highlights that Munich has to offer! And we also show you how the region around Munich looks like, there will be weekend trips to lakes nearby and into the mountains.

12至17歲　Ages 12 - 17

The adventure camp (a beautifully restored former hotel) is south of Munich right next to one of the most pristine lakes in the German Alps, Lake Spitzingsee. The view is wonderful, looking out of the window you´ll see either lake or mountains. Our Adventure Camp is fantastic if you like sports & adventure - you´ll have lots of fun after German classes: we´ll go hiking with a GPS, build rafts or sleep outside by the campfire. Munich is just 50 km away, and every week we organize 2 trips to Munich. You´ll get to see all the highlights like Olympiastadium, Schloss Nymphenburg and of course Hofbräuhaus.

This summer camp with German language classes for children is 50 km south of Munich in Josefstal, a traditional Bavaria village in the Alp mountains. The village is very popular with German kids & teens, who like to spend their summer holidays here. You´ll meet some of them at our summer camp: they stay on site with you and best of all, they do all the after class activities together with you. So you can test your German right away! Your school is a kind of college 800 m above sea level, and the scenery is fantastic. Every week we organize at least 2 excursions to Munich, maybe the most beautiful city in Germany.

Berlin has often been called Europe's capital of cool, and if you join one of our German immersion summer camps in Berlin, you'll see why. The camps combine German courses with lots of fun activities in Berlin.
 

► Berlin College German & Urban Arts for Teens at Berlin College

16至18歲　Ages 16 - 18

The college has a 16.000 m² park-like campus on trendy Kastanienallee - with fancy clubs, cafes and designer shops just down the street. The street is nicknamed casting ally, because there are so many films and fashion shootings here. Every day we´ll show you a different part of Berlin - you´ll get to see all the highlights like Museumsinsel or the Berlin Wall. The German courses start in the afternoon, Berlin sightseeing and our activities takes place before and after the course. Their focus: urban arts and culture, with workshops on topics like Berlin street art or photography.

The Berlin Villa has 40 beds and a big garden - ideal for a summer holiday with German courses, if you like it small, cozy and familial. The villa is like a safe island in the very center of bustling Berlin: it is located near Kurfuerstendamm, the most famous shopping street in the western city center. In the villa you live and learn German with students from all over the world, and together you will set out to explore Berlin. German courses take place in the morning, and every afternoon our guides show you the best of Berlin: We´ll go swimming at the Badeschiff, play minigolf at Mauerpark next to the Berlin Wall,  and of course we´ll do some sightseeing, too: Checkpoint Charlie, Reichstag, Potsdamer Platz ...

Palace Charlottenburg is one of the most famous sights in Berlin, and this summer center with German language courses for teenagers is just 300 meters from the palace. You learn German together with young people from all over the world, and after class we'll show you all the highlights of Berlin, probably the coolest city in Germany. You will also have time to relax: River Spree is only a 2-minute walk away, and our program includes lots of sports and outdoor activities. The special feature of this center: You can also book a single room all to yourself.

You are looking for an INTENSIVE German course in Berlin? Then have a look at this summer school! Here you have a choice: 4 or 5 German lessons per day (the other GLS summer schools in Berlin include 4 lessons). Don't think more work equals less fun, on the contrary: You will learn German with teenagers from all over the planet, and you will all live together on the school's campus. The standard is high, with 2-bed rooms, each with its own bath. You´ll find it easy to make new friends, the school is a perfect home base for venturing out into Berlin: It is located just west of the city center and and it won´t take you more than 20 minutes to get into the VERY heart of Berlin. 

Daily activities in Berlin are included, also a one day trip on the weekend, e.g. to Potsdam.

The summer camp is located on one of the beautiful lakes that surround Berlin, in the little village of Blossin. This camp has fantastic water sports facilities - with lots of canoes, sailing boats and surfing equipment. When German courses finish, in the afternoon, we go canoeing, sailing or surfing. And of course there will be beach parties and barbecues by the lakeside, too. Berlin is only 30 km away: Every week we arrange 2 excursions to Berlin and you´ll get to see all the highlights: Berlin´s neues Downtown: Potsdamer Platz, the Berlin Wall, Museumsinsel ...

You´ll learn German staying next to a great lake in Berlin, and more than that - you´ll also meet German children your age! The camp uses the facilities of a private university in Berlin Schmöckwitz. German kids spend their summer holidays here, too, and they will take part in all the activities and excursions that we offer after class - a great way to practice your German right away! You have a choice of various activities every day: we´ll do talent shows, have barbecues, go swimming ... . And every week we organize 2 excursions to Berlin highlights such as Potsdamer Platz, Berlin´s new  Downtown, Berlin Wall or Berlin Zoo.
